2012-02-21 Jerks and Over head squat
A: 5 sets of 5 jerks increasing loads for each set
Then B or C
B: 5 sets of 20 seconds, hold in the down position of your overhead squat with an empty barbell or PVC
5 sets of 5 at a moderate weight rest 60 seconds between sets (the same weight for all 5 sets)
C: Mini MetCon
as many rounds as possible in 8 minutes
50 M sprint
15 double unders

Thanks for lifting with me, Alex. I was way wrong on my PR. My 1RM is 225… not 265. 265 is my goal weight. I ended up maxing out at 2×215 today.

Nice work today guys! lots of gains on overhead strength, I even saw some PRs with I’m always surprised to see on a 5×5 day. I was happy with my 115 for 5 and a bonus round at 120 that failed after 2. Good improvement on the OHS technique and positioning today. This is a tough one I’m really happy to see the overall improvement keep it up!
