SO1 Joshua Thomas Harris, 36, drowned during combat operations, August 30th 2008 in Afghanistan. He is survived by his parents Dr. Sam and Evelyn Harris, his brother Ranchor and twin sister Kiki.

For time, five rounds of:

  • Run 400 meters
  • 30 Glute-ham sit-ups
  • 250 pound Deadlift, 15 reps

    Nice work 5:30 class! Welcome to the gym Corinne sorry to hear you’re bored of your gym but I promise we’ll keep you coming back for more.

    Maria and Lauren did their first “hero” WOD! Lauren proving to herself that she CAN run! Nice work.

    ALex did 3 rounds RX’d and we had a guest CrossFitter from out of town. Scott it was great to have you! nice work! Nice form! Thanks for helping the youngins’ with their DL’s Love that CrossFit community spirit. Visit us again next time you’re in town, and bring Kim too :-)

    Theo and Sean worked hard on DL form at 95#. Good work guys!

    great work from the 7pm class, had a good showing tonight. greg cleared 3 rounds within the time and his running is improving greatly. alison and brittany did 5 rounds DLing at 95, awesome. alex’s deadlift was looking really clean at 85, she was very attentive to form and she pushed through to five rounds. anthony did three rounds at 160 DL and full GHD situps, way to go!!!

    This workout was not as bad as I thought it would be…ended up doing mod. GHDs for fear of a migraine again. I liked the runs in it, it helped reset my body and shake it all out before hitting the other exercises.

    Oh and scott thanks for ur info regarding breathing and conditioning, got to put it to use somewhat today. Ur deadlift is crazy man, I hope to be able to do it like you did when the next joshua comes up
